The 6th Annual Dubai International Film Festival [December 9th – 16th] once again brings Team Xero back to the lovely Madinat Jumeirah. DIFF’s mission is to “Celebrate excellence in cinema, using it as a medium to promote open dialogue between cultures and nations.”

XE Director Ashraf Ghori along with Mohammad Mondal and Mouna Abbassy are attending the festival representing Team Xero. They were all present at the Opening Gala, Red Carpet Event, where they saw the World Premier NINE. Others present included Amitabh Bachchan, M. F. Hussain, Mandy Moore among other top celebrities.

One of the main highlights at the Festival was a premiere of the first Emirati feature film “City of Life” directed by Ali F. Mostafa. It was “the first multi-lingual feature film to be written, produced and directed by an Emirati with UAE funding, intended for both local and international release”. [Trailer]

Along with the aim to support other film artists, Team Xero is at the festival to connect with potential sponsors and collaborators as well as generating some publicity for Xero Error.

The team was also present last year to first announce the film.
