What’s better than watching our film on a giant 55 inch LED screen? Watching it in glorious stereoscopic 3D of course. Our friends at Samsung, impressed with the visuals of Xero Error, sent us a sleek Samsung Smart TV to test out its great 3D functionality.

We’ve got great news for our UK Xyborgs! Levity-Xero Error Minus1 is an Official Selection at the 10th SCI-FI LONDON - The London International Festival of Science Fiction and Fantastic Film. The festival runs from today, 23rd April till the 2nd of May in Apollo Piccadilly Circus – BFI Southbank.

“From Sea To Sea” is a translation of the Latin words “A MARI USQUE AD MARE” which is Canada’s slogan. Our next featured talent on today’s behind the scenes of ‘Levity Xero Error Minus1′ is David George-Cosh from Canada. He worked for The National (Abu Dhabi) and Financial Post (Toronto) as a tech and telecom reporter. Even though David never auditioned in front of a camera, he was a natural and performed brilliantly for his role of a news anchor for the film. We find out a little bit more about him in the Q&A below.

Last year during “The Art of Xero Error Competition”, we had many of our friends from all over the world who supported and contributed to the competition. A few weeks ago we received copies of Future Funk magazine (issue #1) in our mail with XE7 boldly displayed on the back cover. While the competition was announced, the creator of the magazine, Turtel Onli, got in touch with us through facebook and generously dedicated the back cover to spread word about it. Dubai World Trade Centre hosted the 7th Digital Studio Awards ceremony on February 8th, 2011. Ashraf Ghori won “Best Up & Coming Filmmaker of the Year” and Levity Xero Error Minus1 was nominated for “Animation of the Year“.
Our collaborative film with D-Seven Motion Pictures “Malal” won the “Production of the Year” category.
